Father Hough works through his trauma of Loriod.

Hough has not seen Charles since before his change. When Kimberly arrives with a basket of food and asks if he would like to see Charles, Hough has an anxiety attack. His mind flashes back to Loriod whenever he hears a man come near. Despite his fear, he allows Charles to enter.

He cowers and cries when Charles appears, despite him being a friend. Charles sits on one side of the bed and gently talks to him, but is unable to help him directly, but Hough asks him to stay. Slowly, he walks from one side of the bed to the other, fighting against the image of Loriod. Trembling, he embraces Charles and holds him for a long time. He breaks away, thanks Charles, and asks if they could go for a walk outside together. Kimberly picks up her basket of food, while Charles points out Hough's boots are untied.
