Galean Sea
The Galean Sea, despite the prodigious fishing around its shores, remains relatively poor. Villages line both sides, as do many shrines and places of pilgrimage for Ecclesia Followers wishing to walk in the footsteps of Yahshua. These are maintained with diligence, and frequent relief comes into the villages in years of drought. Apart from fishing, the main livelihood in this region is from livestock and farming. In the last fifty years, some precious minerals have been discovered in the hills nearby and a few mining projects have been started, but what they've produced only supplements the areas meagre income.
