Bradanes Ruins
First Mention: Never by its Cover
Situated along the border between the Southern Midlands and the Flatlands, between Devil's Strand and Herstel Forest.
(Sometime in 706) The wells and cisterns of the Bradanes Manor house, village and surrounding farming hamlets, and two more villages within the Bradanes holding, were poisoned with a substance that causes disfigurement and eventually death.
Bradanes was destroyed, wells and cisterns filled and the town burned to prevent further contamination. Of eight thousand afflicted people, only six thousand survived their initial pilgrimage into Sathmore due to bandits, militia, knights and commoners resisting them.
