Lurker

These predators are like a trap door spider. The size of a small horse they lurk in a camouflaged hole, waiting for prey to wander past.

The term Lurker is also used to describe shadowy figures, often at the edge of perseption, that are seen within the halls of Metamor. There is no relation between the two other then name.
