Walter is one of the few in Glen Avery to have suffered the gender curse. Walter is the Glen's tailor, and for many years afterwards has become a sullen bitter recluse. She has softened some since the Winter Assualt after discovering that she was not weak as a woman. She has also taken in a child that was left without parents and that has helped her greatly. Discovering that she has a nephew in Murikeer Khunnas has been a great blessing to her as well. The ice that she once cloaked herself with has finally cracked.
