One of the older members of the Long Scouts. He has a gruff abrasive personality but underneath he has true regard for all the Longs and his extended family the entire keep. He sees himself as a self proclaimed guardian for the younger Longs, so he can get a little condescending at times.

Allart's wife is a tabby cat (black and white) named Marya. Their son is 8 years old, named Malcolm after Marya's older brother who died when attacked by bandits several years before the curse.
